A structured vocabulary-building program designed to help children learn new words, understand their meanings, read them, and practise their spellings using the phonics knowledge they have already developed.

The program covers a wide range of everyday, academic, environmental, and general-awareness vocabulary, giving children opportunities to learn and practise more and more useful words.

The primary focus of the Vocabulary After Phonics PROGRAM™ is to help children expand their vocabulary while continuously revising and applying their phonics knowledge.

Instead of learning words only by memorization, children are encouraged to listen to the sounds, identify patterns, blend, segment, read, and spell the words they learn.

The program gives children repeated exposure to a wide variety of useful words, helping them develop vocabulary, spelling, reading confidence, and word recognition together.
